Sm+rt Cookies

For the past few years, we (Jared and Max) have been visiting and researching bakeries all over NYC, with a collaboration between education and sweets in mind. We wanted cookies that not only tasted amazing, but ones from a business that felt intentional, compassionate, and rooted in cultural relevance. What we did not realize was that the answer to our calls was just outside of New York.

We are delighted to announce that Wiz+Kid Tutoring has gotten into the cookie business, partnering up with the cutest mom and pop bakery in Sparta, New Jersey: Pattycakes.

Wiz+Kid Tutoring was built on the simple but powerful belief that education should feel human. It should feel personal, engaging, and safe. We treat every child we work with as family, not as a number or a test score. That philosophy has guided us well beyond traditional tutoring.

Our goal is to become the “Girl Scout Cookies” of education. A product that families recognize, trust, and look forward to, while quietly reinforcing curiosity, learning, and connection. We want children to grow up associating education with joy, exploration, relatability and warmth rather than pressure or obligation.
